Opioid Abatement and Remediation

Opioid Funding Information

The State of Tennessee is slated to receive over $1.2 billion from various nationwide opioid litigation settlements.  Loudon County is receiving a portion of these funds on an annual basis.

The Loudon County Budget Committee is accepting annual funding requests from organizations that provide services consistent with the approved abatement and remediation uses established by the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council, as listed below. Requests will continue to be accepted until available funding is exhausted.  The committee reserves the right to request additional information regarding the organization.  Additional information requests will be communicated by email to the organization.

The organization must fully complete the “Opioid Information Request” packet and submit this information to Erin Rice, Budget Director.  The completed packet may be submitted by email to the following address:  ricee@loudoncounty-tn.gov or the packet may be mailed or dropped off at the Loudon County Office Building, Attn: Erin Rice, 100 River Road, Box 109, Loudon, TN 37774.

These requests will be considered at the next available budget committee meeting.  If the committee makes a recommendation to fund, then County Commission will be advised of the recommendation and will make the final decision on the funding request.  If the funding is approved, the organization will be contacted to discuss the process for funding.  The funding will be for a period of 12 months in duration.
