The Loudon County Solid Waste Disposal Commission Meeting scheduled for September 12, 2017 has been cancelled and rescheduled for September 26, 2017 at 6:30 P.M. at the Loudon County Courthouse Annex.

All Loudon County Offices will be closing at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, August 21, 2017. The Senior Center viewing party will proceed as planned.

The Loudon County Capital Projects, Budget, and Purchasing Committee Meetings scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2017 have been cancelled. The Workshop, Special Called, and Public Hearing for the Budget will be still be held as scheduled.

The Loudon County Commission will be having an Executive Session on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 4:30 P.M. at the Courthouse Annex to discuss potential litigation.

Loudon County Commission Special Called Meeting

The Loudon County Commission will have a Special Called Meeting on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Courthouse Annex immediately following the Workshop to discuss the Poplar Springs Landfill. The Loudon County Commission Workshop will also be held at the Annex.

Loudon County Commission Special Called Session

Loudon County Commission will meet in Special Called Session at 6:00 P.M. at the Courthouse Annex in Loudon on Thursday, August 24, 2017. The following items will be considered:

  1. Conisderation of recommendation to approve A Resolution Making Appropriations for the Various Funds, Departments, Institutions, Offices and Agencies of Loudon County, Tennessee, for the Year Beginning July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2018.

  2. Consideration of recommendation to approve A Resolution Fixing the Tax Levy in Loudon County, Tennessee for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2017.

  3. Consideration of recommendation to approve A Resolution Making Appropriations to Nonprofit Organizations Serving Loudon County, Tennessee for the Year Beginning July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2018.
