Materials Accepted

The Loudon County Recycling and Convenience Centers accept the following materials:

• Cardboard
• Aluminum cans
• Appliances - all metals
• Magazines
• Newspaper
• Office paper
• Used motor oil and filters
• Antifreeze
• Computers, monitors, T.V.'s and electronics
• All batteries
• All plastics
• Cell phones
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Oil-based paint (NOTE: oil-based paint is ONLY accepted on Saturdays from 9AM until 2PM)

The centers do not accept these materials:

• Household chemicals*
• Yard waste
• Hazardous waste
• Commercial
• Demolition
• Dead animals
• Wood
• Any biological waste

*The Loudon Convenience Center at 300 Rock Quarry Road, Loudon, TN will now be accepting Household Hazardous Waste.

The Household Hazardous Waste drop off will be open on Mon, Tues, and Wed from 9AM to 2PM.
